What does a home inspection cost? You don’t have to jump through hoops to find out how much you’re going to pay for gas, food or clothes. So why should it be that way in the service industry? You’re right, it shouldn’t!
Why the Seagrape? As a child, born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, Ariel Hernandez, a state of Florida licensed home inspector, spent countless hours playing and climbing on Seagrape trees in his neighborhood. Seagrape trees are native to Florida, primarily found on the coast and they serve to protect dunes and provide for food and shelter for wildlife on Florida beaches. They were also used as shaded shelters by beach-goers prior to the laws protecting dunes being enacted.
Much like the Seagrape is unique to Florida (and the Caribbean) and differ from the dune plants in northern beaches, Florida homes are very different than homes in other states and also have to be built to withstand the same environmental conditions of Florida that the Seagrape tree endures.
Being a native of Florida, Ariel understands and appreciates how a Florida home is built, how it should be maintained, and how the high heat, humidity, wind, and rain influences a home’s conditions. He knows what “good” looks like and when something should be monitored, or assessed by a licensed trade professional. There is no drama, just a day at the beach under the shade of a Seagrape!
Join us in preserving Florida’s beach dunes and mangrove forests! A portion of the fees from every complete property inspection is donated to local organizations that are preserving Florida’s beach dunes and mangroves. Each complete property inspection equals one new mangrove tree or a tray of 100 dune grasses!
