Seagrape Home Inspections, PLLC
We Communicate
We speak your language and let you know the most important items we find.
Sometimes the weather can take a turn for the worse, but that doesn’t mean that you should fear for your home’s ability to hold up to the elements. There are countless wind mitigation methods that can drastically reduce the risk of damage to your home.
A 4-Point Inspection is a basic evaluation of four critical areas of a home—the HVAC systems, the roofing system, the electrical system, and the plumbing system. This inspection is often required by insurers before they’re willing to issue or renew a policy on an older home.
We know that purchasing a home is one of the largest investments that you’ll make throughout your lifetime. With this in mind, we take care to note every detail during the inspection process.
Why the Seagrape? As a child, born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, Ariel Hernandez, a state of Florida licensed home inspector, spent countless hours playing and climbing on Seagrape trees in his neighborhood. Seagrape trees are native to Florida, primarily found along the coast serving as protection for dunes and providing food and shelter for the wildlife on Florida’s beaches. They were also used for shade by beachgoers prior to the laws protecting dunes being enacted.
Much like the Seagrape is unique to Florida and differ from the dune plants in northern beaches, Florida homes are very different than homes in other states and also have to be built to withstand the same environmental conditions that the Seagrape tree endures.
Being a native of Florida and having custom design and built his own home, Ariel understands and appreciates how a Florida home is built, how it should be maintained, and how the high heat, humidity, wind, and rain influences a home’s conditions. He knows what “good” looks like and when something should be monitored or resolved by a qualified trade professional. There is no drama, just a day at the beach under the shade of a Seagrape!
